UNMUTE TEES

Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Unmute Tees uses cookies and similar technologies on unmutetees.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, tags, and software identifiers that recognize a browser or record an interaction. Some cookies last only for the browsing session; others remain until they expire or you delete them.

2. Technology used on the Site

STRICTLY NECESSARY

Used where needed for cart, checkout, payment security, fraud prevention, session management, network operation, and other services you request.

FUNCTIONAL

May remember optional storefront preferences and improve convenience when a feature requires them.

ANALYTICS

Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) helps us understand visits, referrals, device/browser information, approximate region, pages viewed, and Site events.

ADVERTISING

We do not currently use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar cross-site advertising pixels.

3. Google Analytics 4

GA4 helps us measure how the Site is used and whether it works as intended. Depending on configuration, it may process online identifiers, device and browser attributes, IP-derived approximate location, referral information, page views, purchase events, and interaction timestamps. Google may process information under its own terms and privacy documentation.

The choices currently available for analytics cookies include the browser and Google opt-out controls described below. If our markets or use of tracking changes so that an additional on-site consent or opt-out mechanism is required, we will implement it before the affected processing begins.

4. Checkout and third-party technology

SHOPYY and infrastructure providers may use necessary technology to operate the Site and cart. Wintopay, card institutions, and PayPal when used may use authentication, fraud-prevention, security, and payment technology when you enter checkout or choose their services. WhatsApp/Meta may process device and communication information when you choose the WhatsApp support link. These providers may publish their own cookie and privacy notices.

5. Your choices

  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block, limit, or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technology may prevent the cart, account, or checkout from working.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Its availability and operation are controlled by Google.
  • Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email. Email preferences are separate from browser cookie settings.
  • Browser privacy signals: some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Because standards and legal requirements vary, we respond as required by applicable law. We do not currently sell personal information or use cross-site advertising pixels.

6. Duration and retention

Cookie duration varies by purpose. Session cookies normally expire when the browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiration or until you delete them. Analytics information is retained according to our configured GA4 retention settings. If we introduce a consent-management system, necessary consent records may be retained to demonstrate and respect your choice.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add, remove, or reconfigure technology. We will revise the date above. Before adding Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or another advertising tracker, we will update our disclosures and implement any notice, consent, or opt-out required by law.

8. Contact

Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to support@unmutetees.com. We normally respond within 2 business days.
