UNMUTE TEES

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Unmute Tees (“Unmute Tees,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit unmutetees.com, place an order, contact us, submit a claim, or choose to receive marketing.

For personal information collected through our store, Unmute Tees is responsible for the processing described in this policy unless a third party’s own notice says that it acts independently.

Privacy contact: Unmute Tees, Room 901, Tianlun Fantai International, Taiyi Road, Beilin District, Xi’an, Shaanxi 710000, China; support@unmutetees.com.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, billing address, and account details.
  • Order and service information: products, design, size, color, quantity, price, discounts, order status, tracking, delivery events, returns, refunds, replacements, and claim evidence.
  • Payment-related information: payment method, transaction identifier, payment status, limited card details such as card type or last digits when provided to us, and fraud or verification indicators. Wintopay, PayPal when used, card networks, and financial institutions process complete payment credentials. We do not receive or store your complete card number or card security code.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, Site interactions, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers.
  • Communications and content: emails, WhatsApp messages, support history, reviews, photographs, videos, measurements, and other information you choose to send.
  • Marketing information: subscription choice, consent record, campaign interaction, abandoned-cart status, and unsubscribe preference if those features are enabled and used.
  • Security and compliance information: information needed to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, protect the Site, resolve disputes, keep business records, and respond to lawful requests.

2. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you browse, check out, create an account, contact us, submit a claim or review, or subscribe to marketing. We also collect some information automatically through the Site and receive information from service providers involved in the transaction, including SHOPYY, Wintopay, PayPal when used, Google Analytics, our U.S.-based production and fulfillment partner, USPS, and other providers involved in the order.

3. How we use information

Complete your order

Process payment, produce and ship products, provide tracking, communicate about the order, and handle support, refunds, and replacements.

Operate and improve

Maintain the Site, troubleshoot problems, understand performance, improve usability, and plan products and fulfillment.

Protect and comply

Verify orders, prevent fraud, investigate claims, enforce terms, keep tax and accounting records, and comply with legal requests.

Communicate with your choice

Respond to you and, if enabled and lawfully permitted, send marketing or cart reminders according to your subscription choice.

We process information when reasonably necessary to perform a transaction or respond to your request, operate and protect our legitimate business, comply with law, or act with consent where consent is required. We will not use consent as a condition for completing a purchase unless the processing is genuinely necessary for that purchase.

4. Marketing and abandoned-cart email

If we enable newsletters or abandoned-cart reminders, we will send promotional messages only after you affirmatively opt in or where another lawful basis clearly permits the message. An email address entered only to create an order or ask for support will not automatically be treated as consent to unrelated marketing.

Every promotional email will identify Unmute Tees, include a working unsubscribe method, and include our business contact information. You may unsubscribe at any time through the link in the message or by emailing us. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we respect the request. Transactional messages about an order, payment, delivery, security issue, return, or policy change may still be sent when needed.

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as cart, checkout, security, session management, and Site operation. We currently use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand Site use and performance. GA4 may process online identifiers, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP, referral information, pages viewed, and Site events.

We do not currently use Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel. The choices currently available for analytics cookies include browser controls and Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If our markets or use of tracking changes so that an additional on-site consent or opt-out mechanism is required, we will implement it before the affected processing begins. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Who receives information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:

  • SHOPYY and infrastructure providers that host, secure, and operate the storefront, checkout, databases, and related functions;
  • Wintopay, PayPal when used, card networks, financial institutions, and fraud-prevention providers to process and verify payments;
  • our production, printing, and fulfillment partner in the United States to produce, pack, and identify the correct order;
  • USPS and other delivery providers to create labels, provide tracking, route, and deliver the parcel;
  • Google for GA4 analytics;
  • communications and email providers, including WhatsApp/Meta if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or an email service if you subscribe;
  • professional advisers, auditors, accountants, insurers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, and other authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required; and
  • a buyer or successor in a genuine merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable safeguards.

Some providers process information on our instructions, while others—particularly payment institutions, carriers, Google, and WhatsApp/Meta—may process information independently under their own privacy notices.

7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell or rent personal information for money. At the date of this policy, we do not use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar tools for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out required by applicable law before or when the change takes effect.

8. International processing

Unmute Tees operates from China, while our current production and fulfillment partner operates in the United States. SHOPYY, payment, analytics, communications, and other providers may process information in the United States, China, or other countries. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international disclosure or transfer, we will use reasonable and legally appropriate safeguards.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and to meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, product-safety, dispute, and enforcement needs. Retention depends on the record:

  • order and transaction records are retained for the period required by business, tax, payment, and consumer-law obligations;
  • support and claim records are retained while a matter is active and for a reasonable period to document its resolution;
  • marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe, the address becomes inactive, or it is no longer needed, with a minimal suppression record retained where appropriate;
  • analytics information is retained according to our configured GA4 settings; and
  • security records are retained for a period proportionate to the risk and any potential legal claim.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Do not send complete card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary email or WhatsApp.

11. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing or certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising; appeal a refusal; or complain to a privacy authority.

These rights are not absolute and lawful exceptions may apply. Email support@unmutetees.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Describe your request and state your country and, if relevant, state of residence. We may verify your identity using information proportionate to the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

12. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A person must be able to enter a valid purchase contract or act with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child submitted personal information improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. Third-party sites

Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Review the notices shown by Wintopay, PayPal when used, Google, WhatsApp/Meta, USPS, and any other service you choose to use.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law.
